I've been meaning to post these for a while now, but circumstances of late have kept me busy and unable to keep pace. I promise that I have a comic in the works, but in the mean time, here's something boring and irrelevant to hold you over. =P
Since I did my Chun-Li sculpture, I'd been messing around with polymer clay more and decided to make these earrings. I've never made jewelry before, ever, unless you count wreaths of grass and weeds I used to make when I was a little girl. This is really my first attempt at making them, and it's probably not an original idea by any means. I just thought it would be nice, easy little project to try this whole thing out on. Again, I haven't consulted any jewelry-making guides or tutorials, so I couldn't tell you the best way to do this, or if what I'm doing is standard or correct. I just sort of went to the art supply store and did what I thought would make sense. *Shrugs.* The results are satisfactory.

So yeah, Airheads are delicious. The earrings are good for wearing with casual clothes, and I've worn them to work on several occassions; although, I have to get in the habit of not sleeping in them, since as they're hand-made, I worry that I don't have the skills to have made them sturdy enough. Oh well. It's fun, though I need to stop doing all this girly stuff on my spare time and get back to drawing comics! >.<
